MSL Dome Foot Mounts

A Dome Foot Mount (commonly marketed as a “Cushy Foot” or foot-mounted rubber isolator) is an anti-vibration mounting featuring a robust rubber body with integrated metal stud or bolt connections. They typically work in both shear and compression to provide vibration control. These mounts combine rubber block elements with metal housings/studs, allowing them to be bolted directly to equipment frames and foundations. When vibration occurs, the rubber compresses or shears depending on movement direction, trapping energy and preventing it from transmitting directly to the supporting structure. Dome foot mounts provide an effective way to isolate machines that are mounted on floors or frames without additional pad or bracket systems. They help control noise, reduce floor vibration, and protect machine components from high-frequency shock loads.
